Bette "Bionic" Cunningham - North Grafton, Massachusetts
Bette has always had a passion for the game of darts and in the last few years she has become a force on the american ladies tour.
She was born in Morristown, NJ and lived there for 24 years before moving to Massachusetts after graduating from C.W. Post College. There she played field hockey and softball on scholarship and earned a B.S. in Physical Education. Bette and her husband of 29 years settled down and started a family raising 2 children, Mary Jo and Clif. She also started a career with the Double Tree Hotel by Hilton and is still on the job 25 years later.
She says she first was dragged to a Blind Draw in 1995 and was hooked after that. She was a regular on Friday at that bar for 10 years then started playing in several leagues including the largest one in the country, the Minute Man Dart League. The more she played against tougher competition the better she became. She has won several titles in her career including 501 at the prestigous USA Classic in 2012. A couple years ago she started reaching ADO Nationals and last year, in Dallas, it paid off when she qualified for a spot on the American Team at the Winmau World Masters Championships in England.
Bette loves to have fun and wants to continually develop her dart skills and encouraging other ladies to compete. She is a class act and an ambassador to the sport of darts.
