Has it really been one year? My how time flies when your'e having fun. The Kryptonite Girls celebrated their first anniversary this weekend with five players showing up at the Washington Open to compete and just have a little fun.
Kay Hoover followed up last weekend's Singles victory by winning Ladies 501 Singles. Kay would also post a Top 16 in Cricket Singles and finished 2nd in Mixed Triples. She and Fellow K-girl Bette Cunningham teamed up to win Ladies Doubles Cricket and finish Top in 501 Doubles. She would also win Mixed Triples and Mixed Doubles posting 3 victories on the weekend. Bette finished Top 16 in Singles Cricket and said the event was a blast.
Morgan McCormack and Valerie Goad flew in from Texas to play some darts and get a little sight seeing in as well. They teamed up to make a run to the Finals and ended up finishing 2nd in Ladies 501 Doubles. Morgan would also finish Top 4 in Singles 501 and Valerie was Top 4 in Mixed Doubles 501 and Top 8 in Singles Cricket.
irsten McCandless was on hand and made it to the Finals Ladies Doubles Cricket before bowing out to Kay and Bette.
Sandy Haas and Nancy Jo Mize were at a soft tip event in Alabama.
