The Kryptonite Girls on were on the road this weekend, and in the air, racking up the miles that come with the desire to compete at the highest level, a price to pay if you will.

Three ladies won ADO National Qualifiers and advanced to the 2015 ADO National Cricket Championship to be held in Las Vegas, NV in January. Sandy Hudson was in Winston Salem, NC winning the Area 5-6 Qualifier. Bette Cunningham was in New England winning the Area 5-1 spot and down in Oklahoma, Valerie Goad won her first spot in a National Playoff at the Area 6-5 Qualifier. Candi Ellis was also in North Carolina but was couldn't quite advance in the tough field.

Valerie and her daughter Morgan McCormack were at the Red Dirt Shootout in Del City, OK and found quite a bit of success. Valerie topped Morgan in an all K-Girls Finals in Cricket while Morgan won 501 Singles. They teamed up to win Cricket Doubles and finished as runner up in 501 Doubles. Morgan also won Mixed Triples.

In Chattanooga, TN three players were on hand including local girl Sandy Haas. Sandy finished 2nd four times in Cricket Singles, Mixed Triples and in both Ladies Doubles events. She was Top 8 in Singles 501 and both Mixed Doubles events. Candra Archbold was there as well and won both Ladies Doubles titles and finished Top 8 in Singles Cricket. She was 2nd in Mixed Cricket and Top 16 in Mixed 501. She finished 2nd in 501 Singles to Kay Hoover in another all K-Girls Final. Kay also won Mixed 501 and was Top 4 in Doubles 501.

Our resident jet setter was spending some family time back in her old hometown. Translation, Marlise Kiel flew to Ireland to see her wee dad and play in the BDO sanctioned Northern Ireland Open. She was Top 4 in 501 Doubles and Top 8 in Triples, but she made a nice run onto the Semi-Finals stage narrowly losing in 501 Singles. She often makes this a yearly trip and has played in five countries this year alone.
