
The Kryptonite Girls were in the house 10 strong at the ADO Cricket Nationals and Las Vegas Open.
It's the largest turnout for an event since the group started and got underway on Friday with six players competing in the ADO Cricket National Championships. The K-Girls won 3 out of 4 Nationals last season and kept it going this year with an all K-Girls Final that saw Marlise Kiel top 3 time Champion Paula Murphy 3-2 in a exciting final. It marked the 1st National title of Mojo's career and comes with an invitation to the 2014 Winmau Masters, meaning 2 K-girls are now qualified. Sandy Hudson again finished in the Top 4 while Pam Briggs, Candra Archbold and Morgan McCormack couldn't quite advance from their brackets.
Paula was the big winner during the Las Vegas Open earning 4 wins in the toughest room in American darts. This event is always loaded with America's finest players along with international talent from Canada, Japan and England. She won Cricket Singles, Mixed Triples and both Ladies Doubles Events. She also earned Top 16 in 501 Singles and Mixed Doubles 501. Marlise would take Top 4 in Ladies Doubles 501 and Mixed Triples along with a Top 16 in 501 Singles.
Sandy Hudson was 2nd in 501 Doubles, Top 4 in Cricket Singles and Mixed Triples and earned Top 8 in 501 Singles and Cricket Doubles. Meanwhile Sandy Haas was only able to play on Saturday but finished 2nd in Mixed Triples and Top 16 in Doubles Cricket. While Morgan and Gloria Gutierrez were not able to post money results, Pam had a pair of Top 16 finishes in Triples and Cricket Singles.
Candra finished Top 8 in 501 Doubles and had three Top 16 finishes in Mixed Triples, Mixed doubles 501 and Ladies Doubles Cricket. Bette Cunningham earned Top 16 in Triples and Ladies Doubles Cricket while Valerie Goad finished Top 16 in 501 Doubles.
Down in Myrtle Beach, Candi Ellis and Lora Josey were giving back to the community at a local charity event meaning 12 girls were competing this weekend.
